احد شواطيء ولاية كاليفورنيا الاميركية بات يعرف الان بـ شاطيء الزجاج ( Glass Beach ) ، ذلك لوجود كميات هائلة من الزجاج على شواطئه والتي تكونت بفعل رمي القمامة في الماضي فتكفل بها البحر وعوامل التعرية وصقلها لتكون بالاشكال الجميلة التي ترونها. (http://mz-mz.net/15555)
